Our branch, licensed through Assante Financial Management Ltd., is an independent, entrepreneurial Wealth Management Business that provides individuals, families, & small business owners with high-quality investment advice, financial & tax planning advice, as well as insurance & estate planning guidance.

 

We are a growing business consisting of 8 team members who service approximately 430 client families & over $330 million in client assets.  We were recognized in 2016, 2020, 2021, & 2022 on a National basis by Wealth Professional Magazine as one of the Top 50 Advisor Teams in Canada.

 

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our successful and expanding holistic Wealth Management Business.  You will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, facilitating smooth office operations, and providing support to our Financial Advisor(s).

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the preparation of investment instructions and other administrative paperwork. 
  • Manage and track various client service requests, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and organize day-to-day activities for Financial Advisor(s).
  • Respond to client inquiries by phone or e-mail in a timely, detailed, and professional fashion.
  • Prepare portfolio reports, meeting materials, research, and documentation for client meetings. 
  • Assist in the preparation and entry of financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and organize client files and databases, both physical and electronic.
  • Research and resolve processing and/or client service issues.
  • Collaborate with other staff to support general office operations and coordinate activities.
  • Stay up-to-date on new regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in financial services.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

  • Achievement of a related post-secondary degree or diploma is required.
  • Additional education in finance or another related field is considered an asset.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of focus, accuracy, and attention.
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to thrive within an administrative role.
  • Ability to prioritize as well as keep yourself and others organized.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members, recognizing your supportive role.
  • Ability to work well independently, at your own initiative and without needing oversight.
  • Working knowledge of investment vehicles, products, and financial terminology is required.
