A PASSION FOR ALTERNATIVE INVESTING

The word ‘auspice’ is the root of auspicious which means: A sign of good things to come; protection or support. This reflects the positive impacts Auspice provides to their client’s investment portfolios while preserving capital and managing risk.

Founded in 2006, Auspice is a Calgary based innovative alternative asset manager that focuses on applying rules-based investment strategies across a broad range of financial and commodity markets.

WHY PARTNER WITH AUSPICE?

We chose to partner with Auspice for three key reasons:

  • Deep expertise: Auspice offers deep expertise in managing liquid alternative and commodity strategies that provide the benefits of active management and the efficiency of indexing.
  • Alternative Strategy: Auspice manages active long/short strategies designed to be efficient, scalable and provide a low risk profile. They utilize a disciplined rules-based approach to global commodity and financial sectors focusing on producing better risk adjusted returns that are non-correlated to traditional equity and bond portfolios.
  • Capitalizing on Inefficiencies: The Auspice philosophy combines the wisdom that markets are inefficient and driven by emotion with the application of rules-based methods to identify and capture these inefficiencies.
