Tax Highlights From the 2022 Quebec Budget

Minister of Finance Eric Girard tabled the 2022/2023 Quebec provincial budget on March 22, 2022.


The budget projects a deficit of $6.5 billion for the upcoming 2022/2023 fiscal year, decreasing to $3.9 billion for 2023/2024 and forecasting a return to balance for 2027/2028. The forecast deficit for the almost completed 2021/2022 fiscal year now stands at $7.4 billion, $4.9 billion below the projected deficit of $12.3 billion. Read more here.
